Digital Organization & National Chapters

We use technology to organize, strategize, and increase our impact. Our private social network (members.kihya.org) serves as the hub where young Kenyans hold meetings, plan initiatives, and collaborate on ways to support hemp researchers and civic education efforts. By using this digital space to organize national chapters and strategy

Public Assemblies & Community Engagement

KIHYA organizes Town Hall Meetings, Educational Events, Recreational Gatherings, and Street Broadcasts to increase awareness about industrial hemp and its potential. These events help the public understand the benefits of hemp and mobilize more youth to join the movement, strengthening national support for industrial hemp policy reform.

Financial Support & Advocacy

We work to raise funds, build partnerships, and connect research organizations with investors to ensure that industrial hemp research companies have the financial resources they need. Our advocacy efforts also help push for favorable policies that will make hemp licensing affordable and accessible to local farmers and businesses.

Training & Skill Development

We offer training programs to teach young Kenyans how to farm, process, and create businesses around industrial hemp. Our goal is to empower a new generation of hemp entrepreneurs, sustainable manufacturers, and skilled professionals ready to lead the industry.

Supporting Industrial Hemp Research

Rather than just educating individuals, our goal is to mobilize and organize youth to assist industrial hemp research companies. These companies are responsible for generating the data and reports that will help convince the government to support and legalize an industrial hemp economy.

Talent & Volunteer Mobilization

We connect students, job seekers, and skilled professionals with industrial hemp research teams that need support. Whether it’s assisting with field research, policy advocacy, or public awareness initiatives, we ensure that young Kenyans play an active role in helping researchers provide the government with the necessary information to develop

Research & Policy Advocacy

We work closely with researchers, policymakers, and legal experts to push for industrial hemp legalization and smart regulations that create opportunities for young Kenyans. We support research efforts by providing human capital, funding, and strategic partnerships to ensure the necessary groundwork is laid for Kenya’s hemp industry.
